Piuma chair designed by Piero Lissoni for Kartell is the newest arrival on the international design scene; this design manipulates ground breaking materials in a new and exciting way, developed especially for this piece. 

What is it? Piuma by Kartell, is a chair in a thermoplastic polymer compound.                

How is it made? Piuma is thin like a sheet of paper, really versatile and lightweight, yet extremely durable and comfy. Stackable and perfect for indoors and out. What could be more versatile than this…

How is it made? In a carbon reinforced thermoplastic polymer and manufactured using a special injection moulding process, developed especially for this material.

Who is it by? Internationally acclaimed architect and designer Piero Lissoni is best-known for his timeless aesthetics. Stylish designs, minimalist silhouettes (yet never predictable), a free-flowing thinking process and an eye for scale; this is what drives him.
