e've managed to make this corridor-like room with narrow windows in a row feel like a light-filled open-plan space. Total-white adds light to this narrow space: white softens sharp edges and dreamy accessories make the whole scheme feel more serene. Furniture is kept to the bare minimum, but without giving up on a lived-in homeley feel: a foldable leather armchair, inspired by times gone by, and a retro washstand inspired by old vanity units. And a diverse range of accessories add the same welcoming feel of a living room.

Total white.

Pure-white makes the room feel a lot more spacious. Add cream and ivory accents for some colour.

Washstand.

A modern take on old fashioned vanity units. The wooden top adds a homely feel.

Retro armchair.

Go for this vintage-inspired foldable piece in leather or timber. A great alternative to shabby-chic.
