rmchairs in pleated fabrics, upcycled lamps, innovative materials and 3D textures: extraordinary, playful and sassy pieces take to the stage at the Fabbrica del Vapore in Milan.

Exhibition SaloneSatellite. 20 anni di nuova creatività focuses on the key moments of the past twenty years of the SaloneSatellite, the first fair in its kind to showcase the work of young designers. Talking points are emerging talents, irony, innovation, sustainability, smart technology and refined colour schemes. An overview of extremely beautiful, functional, sophisticated, experimental and visionary objects: basically a chronicle of approximately 2000 young designers, who throughout the years have exhibited at the SaloneSatellite,.

SaloneSatellite puts on display prototypes, autoproduced projects and just as many objects, which have received the backing of some of the most important Italian and international brands. Overseen by Beppe Finessi (exhibition display by Ricardo Bello Dias, graphics by Leonardo Sonnoli), SaloneSatellite includes over 500 different projects split into three large aisles. These cutting edge design are a fresh take on conventional objects; they alter style, shape (without losing sight of their function), they experiment with construction, use materials in unconventional ways, break-down conventional structures and upcycle and reuse raw materials. This results in pure innovation: sculptural, decorative and evocative pieces, which push towards experimentation.

SaloneSatellite is a real hotbed of new ideas. In fact, just by strolling along the corridors and looking at the exhibits, you have a feeling of how much design has developed in the past decades. Sassy, brilliant and simply practical; this is a narrative is bound to take your breath away.
