  4. HOMI Milano 2017: January edition

HOMI Milano 2017

| Designbest editorial staff

HOMI, in other words: let’s get ready for the new trends for 2017. In fact, HOMI, the interior lifestyle fair, is back at the Rho Fiera complex in Milan from the 27th to the 30th January 2017. Big news, for everyone in the industry, is a special early opening on the 25th and 26th January, when you’ll have a chance to see before everyone else the latest trends for the upcoming holidays, Christmas decorations, toys and gift ideas (Gift&Events and Festivity).

However, there’s a lot to take away from this event. These are its key points.

 1.    Your home is like a mirror.

This year, HOMI advocates a new kind of personal style, which describes our emotions, brings distant lands and ancient traditions together, turns furniture into pieces you can actually wear and adapts to suit different occasions. So, let your emotions guide you to pick what’s right for your home.

2.    Advice from influencers.

The most respected style influencers on the design scene will also be here: they will discuss and analyse the growing trend of searching online for home decorating tips and ideas. You’d better sit up and take note.

3.    Look towards the orient.

All eyes are on Asia with HOMI Design Asia, set up in partnership with SarpiBridge_Oriental Design Week, the association which promotes links between East and West: on display is the best of Asian design. Something for all tastes.

4.    New home fragrances.

Olfactory Gallery will help you find the right fragrance for your home, a real workshop where you can use taste and instincts to make exclusive home fragrances. It’s high time to sniff out the right home. So, would you like to know more?

Don’t miss out our updates: we have browsed through the 10 different themes on display at HOMI and picked our favourites, as well as the season’s must haves.
