he Progetti by Giorgetti furniture series was originally designed in 1987, and in occasion of its thirtieth birthday the brand has released a fresh new version. Progetti is a seating series with a distinct look: armrests made from Pau-ferro, a very rare and sought-after type of wood from Brazil, an extremely hardwearing type of timber with a red tint, and it’s veining recalls the material quality of iron. The armrest’s unique silhouette was inspired by a simple detail: the handle of a walking stick, a simple detail that nonetheless has contributed in turning a standard chair into a real design icon. On this occasion, Giorgetti has brought out three new styles. The first one is the limited edition Progetti Pure, the first chair in the history of the brand to have an exposed beech frame, a detail that enhances the brand’s superior quality joinery.
