S.Pellegrino: Cappellini Design Special Edition

uring the “hottest” week on the design scene, surely nothing beats a bottle of water by one of the most influential contemporary designers around. S.Pellegrino, the most famous Italian water company in the world, has pulled up at the 2018 Salone del Mobile with an exceptional new look: Design Special Edition by Giulio Cappellini.

After the past collaborations with fashionable brands such as Missoni and Bulgari, this year is the turn of one of the top Milanese architects and designers to re-interpret classic Italian style, designing a new bottle especially aimed at the hospitality industry. Giulio Cappellini, undisputed talent-scout always ready to experiment with new concepts, has seized this opportunity, involving other three designers from different continents. Each designer has re-designed the brand’s label, illustrating S. Pellegrino’s creative development with “three different designs that become the same story, told through a series of international events”, as stated by Capellini’s founding member and art director.

If you weren’t able to attend San Pellegrino and Cappellini’s opening party (the 16th April at the Cappellini Point), stay tuned: the three bottles are put on display in three installations at the Superstudio Più in the Tortona district and at the Cappellini Point around Porta Nuova.
