rom the company that unites ceramic handcraft traditions to the research and development of innovative production processes comes a collection that places one of our oldest assumptions into question by combining two opposites that could never before coexist.

  • What it is  Crogiolo D_Segni Blend, made with the new StepWise™ technology, a line of the Crogiolo coverings by Marazzi Ceramiche
  • What makes it special  Crogiolo D_Segni Blend brings back the decorative cement tiles of long ago— with opaque surfaces, chromatic depth and a wide variety of graph designs—in a version that is capable of uniting two opposites: an anti-slip surface and velvety soft touch.
  • How it is made  Fit both for floor and wall coverings, the Crogiolo D_Segni Blend collection comes in a small format (20x20 and 10x10 cm). Made in porcelain stoneware with StepWise™ technology that makes the coverings highly resistant to slippage thanks to a complex production process that involves every industrial step—from the material and glaze research to the type of grinding and pressing processes, to the firing procedure. Maintenance is fast and easy, the new surfaces can be cleaned simply with water and a delicate cleaner.
  • Whose idea it is  Crogiolo D_Segni Blend is a product of the research of Marazzi Group, a name synonymous with high quality ceramics. Founded in 1935 in the Sassuolo district, the area famous for its production of ceramic tiles, Marazzi is part of Mohawk industries, the largest global producer in the coverings sector. With the Crogiolo collection, Marazzi has launched a research project on industrial craftsmanship that intends to rediscover the beauty of authentic ceramics in a coming together of artisanal knowledge and high-tech manufacturing.
  • We chose it because…  It seems that an era has come to an end, that one where we had to choose between rough floor coverings and smooth wall ones. There were decades in which it was impossible to get that tone-on-tone match between color shades and lusters. This is a revolution for the choices of coverings in our bathrooms, kitchens and any other rooms in our homes.
