potted at Maison&Objet and it won us over right away. Folia by Saint Louis is a light-filled piece which brings together traditional craftsmanship techniques and Scandinavian simplicity. Folia by Saint Louis elegantly fills the space with lots of light. Exclusive yet versatile.
- What is it? Folia by Saint Louis is a bright piece in timber and crystal.
- What is special about it? Two in one; this bright piece is both a console table and a lamp. And it decorates any space with its dramatic and sophisticated game of light.
- How is it made? In beech wood and hand cut crystal. Part of a 25-piece strong series, which includes furniture, lamps, coffee table and a number of different table and home accessories. Folia pays tribute to the Moselle forest, France. The cut glass pattern is inspired by foliage, which gently turns into a more stylized shape.
- Who is it by? French designer Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance is known for preferring a natural and poetical imagery. Of his work he says: “Any object has to establish an intimate and emotional relationship with us. This is why I think of the pieces I design like fantasy propellers”.
- We have chosen it because… Folia brings together crisp Scandinavian aesthetics and the sophistication of hand cut crystal. Plus, it fills your home with light.
