ure, we’ll admit it: after just one month of rain, wind and cold we already want to get back to the sea, sun and romantic terrace where we spent last summer. A great way to think about friendlier climates is to organize our terrace or our favorite garden corner. In this way we’ll be able to sit outdoors on the first day the air is a bit warm and the sun peeks its head out.

“Sit” is exactly word that brings us to lounge armchairs: those comfortable and comforting seats which, being a bit smaller than typical armchairs, are able to be placed anywhere, indoors or outdoors. A new and interesting option is the Kilt armchair by Ethimo in teak and rope which reinterprets the classic archetype in a contemporary and eco-friendly way.
They were designed by Marcello Ziliani, the architect and designer who dedicates particular attention to questions of sustainability and human-centered design, a characteristic always central to Ethimo’s product philosophy.

Kilt armchair is part of a collection that also includes chairs for the table.

The Kilt collection continues with the trend of new outdoor furniture with design worthy of the indoors. In this case, it is perfect for those who love natural style with clean lines and a timeless aesthetic in harmony with Scandinavian design. A light and comfortable armchair to place in our favorite corners of the house, balcony and garden—a design wildcard for the indoors and outdoors. Let’s start looking for a warm blanket so we can sit outside on this chair on the first day the sun makes an appearance.
