ithout a doubt, to own a puppy is every child’s secret dream. And thanks to Puppy by Eero Aarnio for Magis, this dream will finally come true. Like its name suggests, this fun piece is in fact a stylised puppy, the right companion to join in all your family fun, be it indoors or out.

What is it? Puppy by Magis is a stylised puppy in polyethylene.

What is special about it? Puppyis a toy, a child’s chair and a sculpture, all in one. Without a doubt, this witty stylized dog will never go out of fashion (originally designed in 2005), loved by young and old alike.

How is it made? Puppy is in colourful polyethylene, manufactured using rotational moulding technology, available in four different sizes, suitable for indoors and out. Puppy is part of the Me Too furniture series, originally set up in 2004; this line has grown year to include new pieces and accessories by different designers. Pieces part of the Me Too series aren’t just scaled down versions of those used by grownups, in fact they represent a child’s perspective on design. What’s more, creativity and play are central to this project; this is matched by great research in ergonomics and material quality. And as a result, Me Too is an extremely versatile and practical series, which every child can use to live new adventures.

Who is it by? Since the sixties, with a groundbreaking use of plastics, Finnish designer Eero Arnio has revolutionized the world of interior design. What’s his style? Organic silhouettes, vibrant colours, a sprinkling of pop-culture and a desire to push the boundaries of conventional design.

We have chosen it because… Sweet like all puppies, however we also love its crisp aesthetics and stylized shape; this makes Puppy a unique characterful piece with a fun design. Puppy is perfect for a child’s room or a grownup’s study, it adds a vibrant touch to your home décor
