t the Salone del Mobile 2022, Désirée is presenting the new Rito Design Project designed by Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez. “Lightness, simplicity and a clean shape” are the keywords describing this new concept focused on sophisticated simplicity.

The collection began with an “easy chair” a compact and delicate design which earned a spot on the ADI Design Index 2021 in the “Home Design” category, in addition to winning the Good Design Award 2021. This chair stands out for the clean and enveloping lines of its delicate metal rod structure and its big and soft cushion which provides the final touch of comfort. The chair aims for sophisticated yet simple comfort and is joined by a desk and a sofa. The latter takes up the linearity of the metal rod structure and the softness and abundance of the padding and adds a functional and stylish detail: a round table positioned between the seats which adds a touch of practicality to its comfort.

Designed for inside the home, both the chair and sofa are also natural fits outdoors and come with new finishes and fabrics. Versatile, chic and emblematic of absolute comfort, Désirée seating has become a symbol of excellence. This approach is exemplified by its use of NFC technology (Near Field Communication) which involves a special “talking” label on sofas, armchairs and beds.
