Gilda Bojardi

| Designbest editorial staff

Jacopo Foggini to be the last designer to pay tribute to Gilda Bojardi. This happened at the Salone del Mobile in Kolne when his presented to hear a chair designed in partnership with Edra. Gilda Bojardi is best known as the creative mind behind the Italian interior design magazine INTERNI, which, since 1994, she leads with extraordinary success. However, she is definitely more than just an expert editor-in-chief.  In 1990 Gilda was possibly the first person to start the series of fringe events during Milan Design Week, known as Fuorisalone. True talent scout and ambassador for Made in Italy across the world. Gilda Bojardi was also decorated with numerous honours and international awards, like the Chevalier dans l’Ordre des Artes ed des Lettres (2006), l’Ambrogino d’oro (2007) and the Italian Talent Award (2015). Gilda Bojardi seems invincible; always with a winning smile and the same energy she had when she started out as a young designer.
