OKLow and tiny, this armchair by the British designer Faye Toogood is extremely comfortable with its bowl-shaped seat and its sturdy, thick legs. Made from a single piece of polyethylene, it’s available as well with a padded seat especially made for the outdoors.
It is one of those armchairs on which you can stretch your arms all the way out on the armrests. Made from colourful, hand-woven polyethylene rope, its African name means parrot, reminding us of the mood of the tropics.
A seat, wide enough for cushions, and an elongated backrest (available in two different heights), cover us like a protective shell, in our reading corner. The waterproof wicker frame and the cushion covers aren’t afraid of downpours.
With its woven, elongated backrest in synthetic rope, it appears lightweight as well as majestic. With its vague retro appeal inspired by times gone by, it helps us to feel, for a while at least, far away from everyday frenzy.
With clean lines and an ergonomic silhouette, this armchair supports you with thin polyester straps, allowing you to sink in so as to be more comfortable. It extends with a footstool, similarly to a chaise longue.
Made of teak slats, in the best outdoor furniture tradition, this armchair is perfect if we require more support for our backs, complete with armrests and footstool. Perfect for small spaces, as its footstool slides under the armchair when not in use.
Big and large, sturdy and comfortable, environmentally friendly as well thanks to the fact it uses an innovative material made of bamboo fibre, Lap 40 (Lapo Elkan and Unopiù’s 40th anniversary) is luxury comfort, in a limited edition of course.
For the metropolitan terrace, the same lever of design and comfort as in the living room. On a teak top that extends beyond the armrests and acts as a table, large padded cushions ensure top comfort. And if you’d rather read lying down, go for the sofa.
And what about rocking gently? In teak and woven rope, the latest rocking chair part of the Knit collection reproduces for the outdoors the typical fireside seat. And without a doubt, it won’t be hit only with the grandparents...
It turns thirty and now it’s an undisputed design icon. Designed by Jasper Morrison at the beginning of his career, the famous tubular, metal armchair with two tiny glass trays, is available as an outdoor armchair as well, to "be pensive" when outdoors too.
