ur new contemporary living room focuses on optical patterns and a few simple pieces with a fluid silhouette such as a two-seater sofa in pure-white with a slender frame in cast-iron and a matching three-legged coffee table in black. The overall scheme focuses on striking contrasts: beside the sofa, a floor lamp in white with a delicate silhouette and on the opposite side, a grid-like cube that results from intertwining angles and stripes in graphite, a contemporary interpretation of a traditional ottoman. In the centre, a carpet in a chequered pattern brings the scheme together and creates visual interest. In the foreground, a unique sculptural coffee table formed by the section of two tree trunks that create a tiny, organic island. A distinctively elegant and unpretentious scheme.
