ream, petroleum and wood: with bold splashes of colour, they refresh the living room with impeccable taste. This scheme couldn’t be complete however, without a familiar touch, typical of the homes of young people. Here, all the pieces have a fun-dynamic feel: a square sideboard combines bold colours with different volumes (solids and voids), a wall-mounted bookcase appears to be floating in mid air and a sofa, in the perfect colour for a characterful touch. In the centre of the room however, a long-pile carpet is the perfect convivial piece, whereas round coffee tables, a tiny bedside lamp in wood and old weathered suitcases add a relaxed, familiar feel.

Style details

A cubic sideboard.

Square, sleek and monolithic, although it’s broken up by colourful windows. This juxtaposition of solid and voids transforms a standard sideboard into a characterful piece.

Wooden accessories.

A side table, a lamp and a wooden footstool create additional warmth.

Geometric shelves.

A sort of colourful cross, symmetric yet dynamic: hey presto, three simple shelves are transformed into a characterful piece.
