Here we have an unconventional living room which has been made for relaxation. This contemporary interpretation of the classic sitting room is a patchwork of fabrics and enveloping forms, which cover the floor by creating an informal island with an ethical feel. Handwoven rugs, mats, pillow rolls and mattresses stretch out towards the fireplace in the center of the room. It’s as if it all is attempting to recreate the magic of Morocco, while the floor-to-ceiling windows bring the outdoors indoors. This is the perfect refuge for the last months of winter.
