  4. The veranda, an apologia for calm

Casalgrande Padana, Terrazzo collection

A

veranda looking out onto the garden is the ideal place for finding peace, relaxing and maintaining a harmonious relationship with nature while staying in the city. The mood is inspired by the 1950s with sinuous sofas covered in green velvet, a blown-glass floor lamp and austere surfaces in the coffee table and sideboard. However, the architectonic details are what project us into the elegance of the past. The porcelain stoneware takes up the style of typical Venetian terrace flooring and gets combined with paneled half-height walls in order to envelop us in a vintage and sophisticated tableau. The space is well-order and bright, and the retro allure creates the perfect year-round sitting room.
