The name of the new thematic area - Archincont(r)act – joins two objectives in a sole word: by fostering a relationship between architecture and large-scale projects (Italian as well as international), Cersaie aims to serve as a hub for different key players such as designers, manufacturers, design studios, installation technicians, who are involved in the construction of important architectural projects. Put on display in the lobby of Pavilion n. 29, Archincont(r)actextends over a 700 sqm surface, composed by two lateral exhibition areas that join in a central space that houses a meeting and conference room.
During the event, top architecture and interior design studios have made plans to network with the Italian ceramic manufacturers that exhibit at the fair.
In conclusion, we ought to mention that with over 220 firms, the Italian ceramic industry is a benchmark for the international market as regards to its design and quality. In addition, Italy is the top exporter of ceramic products worldwide.
