Clerkenwell Design week: a date in London with independent design

After the cancellation in 2021 due to the pandemic, Clerkenwell Design week is back: the UK’s main independent design festival putting English and international design brands on display in London.

This year’s program will once again be full of events, installations, talks, workshops and interesting exhibitions spread out over London’s Islington area. Over 125 showrooms will open their doors for the event and enliven the city together with a series of exhibitors and local activities which will take part in the three-day festival from May 24-26, 2022.

There will be lots of high-end Italian brands present including Arper, Artemide, Baxter, Cappellini, Cattelani&Smith, Ceramiche Atlas, Ceramiche Cesar, Ceramiche Refin, Cosentino, Duravit, Ethimo, Florim, Gessi, Iris Ceramica, LaPalma, Marazzi, Moroso USM and many others.

And for those who want to indulge in design culture there will be 10 exhibitions, with each one having a different curatorial focus ranging from international design to the avant-garde, emerging talents, luxury interiors, lighting, and the best in British design. Plus, there will be an all-female homage to sustainability with a live-painting performance by Camilla Falsini curated by the No profit Yourban2030 and promoted by Iris Ceramica Group.

The eleventh edition of CDW is underway. The only thing left to do is head to London and enjoy early-looks at the latest in design, just in time to return to Italy for June’s Salone del Mobile di Milano 2022.
