t its flagship store on the King’s Road, Lema is hosting a special evening in occasion of the 17th edition of London Design Festival with two exceptional guests: the Spanish designer David Lopez Quincoces and the London artist Clym Evernden. The two personalities have contributed their own style to the installation “Inside the Box”, made especially for the event by Lema, one of the top brands of the Italian design scene.
David Lopez Quincoces has designed the set LT40, the brand’s new living room storage system that’s at the centre of the display. The designer has additionally created the window display that for the week of the festival, is transformed into a spectacular kaleidoscope.
On Thursday, David Lopez Quincoces illustrated his approach as well as the extensive process that led him to design one of the most versatile and challenging lines of wall-mounted storage – in terms of both preliminary study and production stage – manufactured by Lema.
David Lopez Quincoces’s unique performance is accompanied by Clym Evernden, one of the most eclectic personalities of the contemporary creative scene. Lema has asked the award-winning artist to personalise live with his gentle brushstrokes in ink, fluid and bold at the same time, one of the sideboards of the range Rainbow, to create a unique piece inspired by extraordinary architecture (with the Torre Velasca and the galleria Vittorio Emanuele) as well as the parks of the city of Milan.
