date with the design of Lema at the Belgian Biennale Interieur, which this year will put over 200 chairs and objects of contemporary design on display at the event Please Have a Seat.
The event’s setting will once again be the town of Kortrijk and take place from October 15-November 14, 2021. Among its guests, there will be the leading brands of furniture and design together with many international institutions and young talents.
Among these prominent brands there had to be Lema, who will present a selection of rigorous yet informal seating which is perfectly in line with the brand’s style: from Ombra, the rarefied and rigorous leather armchair by Piero Lissoni, to Bai Lu, the chair designed by the Neri&Hu studio which takes us back to Asian style with its sinuous forms, Alton by David Lopez Quincoces, an armchair which is emblematic of tailormade craftsmanship, and Maddix, the chaise longue from the Dainelli studio which brings together wood and leather and keeps Lema’s culture of craftsmanship alive.
There is a mix of contemporary seating for the living and lounge areas, but also new proposals for the home office or dining room which perfectly represent the philosophy and style of Lema, which carefully interprets the latest needs of contemporary home design.
Please have a seat will put a collective dialogue on display which is made up of comfort, conviviality, refined aesthetics and stylistic influences. They are interpretations of new domestic style and more and more distinct expressions of contemporary design.
