A

passion for design and a love of art has always been a part of Euromobil, the company specialized in contemporary and designer furniture which loves to promote every facet of culture. And it often does so by becoming the main sponsor of exhibitions and art festivals.

This time the brand’s owners have put the spotlight on the Uruguayan artist Pablo Atchugarry and his iconographic “Vita della materia” (Life of matter), which can be visited in Cariatidi hall in Milan’s Palazzo Reale until January 30, 2022.

With over 40 pieces from various periods, including large marble sculptures and works directly carved into wood or emerging from centuries-old olive trees, the art interacts with the architecture of Palazzo Reale. Atchguarry is one of the most appreciated artists by the Lucchetta brothers, who already supported him in previous initiatives like the “Città Eterna, eterni marmi” (Eternal city, eternal marble) exhibition in Rome in 2015. “Vita della materia” is an homage to the career of an artist who has been able to unite the global tastes of every collector and expert from around the world.

However, Gruppo Euromobil’s “cultural adoption” program is not limited to established artists, but also intends on highlighting young and emerging artists from the local area of Treviso and Italy more generally. The brand has supported more than 500 exhibitions throughout the world over the last 40 years. “Pairing art with industrial production makes our way of doing business decidedly different and gives a cultural boost to all the people involved with our company” explained Gaspare Lucchetta, Gruppo Euromobil’s managing director. “Directly experiencing the art world, breathing the same air as - and spending time with - artists, encourages us to look ahead towards new horizons”.

It is a can’t-miss event if you wish to explore the latest horizons of design through the vision of Euromobil, a modern patron of the arts in its highest form.
