he 29th June is World Industrial Design Day (WIDD) and this year, with the theme “Youth in Design”, it celebrates young people around the world.
And on this day, ADI (the Italian Association for Industrial Design) will host a round table at the Museo Nazionale della Scienza e della Tecnologia (the science and technology museum) in Milan to prompt a dialogue between young people and the world of design, discussing their values, outlooks and skill set.
This event will be chaired by the following: Luisa Bocchietto, ICSID-WDD President Elect and ADI Past President; Giovanna Talocci, ADI Vice President; designer Odoardo Fioravanti; Lorenzo Goldaniga, spokesperson for the Giovani di ADI Lombardia group (young designers part of the ADI chapter of the Lombardy region) and for students shortlisted at the XXIV Compasso d’ Oro Award in the Targa Giovani category (the young designers’ section of the competition).
