ritten Mo.1950 and read Molteni Mobili, it is the historical furniture multi-brand founded by the entrepreneurial vision of Corrado Molteni first in Varedo in Brianza and now in the heart of Milan, together with four family flagship stores (Cesar, Ditre Italia, Caccaro and Calligaris).

A story of successes that began 70 years ago in 1950, today it has consolidated its efficient network of professionals and workshops with a brand-new showroom made for the contract sector. Molteni Mobili has indeed always offered tailormade design, furniture and interior design consultancy, even turnkey solutions. Thanks to its experience in the sector and its excellent partners in this new project like Ceramiche Caesar, Quadrodesign and Rexa Design, it is opening the doors of Mo.1950, its new Milanese headquarters designed by Matteo Lualdi (with styling by Stefano Gaggero) in an ideal space for designing integrated and complete solutions.

As one crosses the threshold a domestic scene designed for the public opens up that offers the latest proposals for the kitchen, living room and bathroom. The lower floor is reserved for architects, interior designers and real estate agents, with large mood boards that offer product, material and finishing combinations next to a large work area dedicated to design.

“The showroom opens onto a large and welcoming residential space that has been designed to display products in authentic settings. Many pieces of furniture and accessories have been custom-made in order to highlight the uniqueness of the brands that we wanted for this project”, explained Matteo Lualdi“The lower floor hosts a space dedicated to design, discussion and imagination. I designed the Lab so that the materials, finishes, tiles, fabrics and products are what do the talking.”

It is essentially a multifunctional space that changes the traditional language of the showroom and turns it into an atelier/workshop for architects and interior designers, a harmonious whole that represents the brands by highlighting their particularities and making them feel a bit at home.

A home for brand partners, but also for the public, where each one can gather the right insights in order to interpret one’s own personal style among austere furniture, soft and warm tones (russet, terracotta, pink, dark brown, or more vivacious ones like notes of saffron and blue) All of this takes place in an enveloping atmosphere where one can take in a familial and designer atmosphere.
