space dedicated to the bathroom and its infinite possibilities. This is the concept behind Solferino LAB – Italian Bathroom Design, the new showroom dedicated to design professionals and enthusiasts conceived of by three of the sector’s biggest names: Megius, Scarabeo Ceramiche and Fima Carlo Frattini.
Solferino LAB is the perfect stage for the latest trends in bathroom furniture and wellness. It has opened its doors in Brera, the heart of the Milanese design district, and takes its visitors on a sort of journey where they can touch the exhibitors’ most iconic and emblematic products, get to know the latest trends in interior design, and gather the right ideas through moodboards that suggest pairings and insights for a personalized and tailor-made lifestyle.
This 140-meter square location has above all been founded as a fluid, dynamic and multipurpose meeting space. The concept for its design was studied precisely for “bathroom design” and is divided into two areas: the material library that displays finishes and materials and offers a large desk for working and comparing ideas, and the area dedicated to the product lines and the brand partners’ latest releases which spreads out over two levels with domestic scenes that go from the display windows on the ground floor to the hidden corners of the mezzanine.
However, this is not merely a space for design. Thanks to the innovative and ambitious entrepreneurial vision of Fima Carlo Frattini, Megius and Scarabeo Ceramiche, the location also aims to be a workshop, event and debate space for promoting and advancing design culture. And it does so especially in order to create new boundaries for a contemporary bathroom dedicated to design and wellness.
